Unwind
Recovery and meditation are so important in any journey to health. In our Unwind activity page, you can find everything you need for a great foundation to focus on meditation, breathing, and unlocking wiry thoughts or tightness in the body. Shop Unwind.

Our products are simple by design. Bala Bangles, Bala Bars, Power Ring and Beam are each made of recycled stainless steel wrapped in baby-soft silicone. Bala Bands, on the other hand, are made of 100% natural latex.

For our Floor Series, The Play Mat is made out of polyurethane and rubber while the Balance Blocks and The Hourglass Roller are made out of a dense sport foam.

The Bala products do not contain latex, however, they are produced in a facility that does manufacture latex products so there is a chance the products can contain traces of latex due to cross contamination. In light of this, please exercise best judgment when shopping the Bala products.

For the Bala Bangles, we recommend cleaning the loop and hook fastener regularly with a toothbrush, fine toothed comb, strong tape, or tweezers.

Hand wash the band and bars with an all natural cleaner. Use a cloth with water or mild soap - dish or hand soap works great! Let it air dry completely. Avoid anything containing essential oils.

We do not recommend submerging your Bala Bangles in water, including swimming in them, as it can compromise the integrity of the elastic and velcro.For the Play Mat, soapy water on a cloth works best. Use mild soap - dish or hand soap also works great. Avoid anything containing essential oils. We do not recommend letting any liquid saturate the Mat. Let it air dry completely. Please note that most natural mat cleansers on the market contain essential oils, and these are for non-porous mats, not ours! It takes time to dry but it should look fresh once it does.

For all other products, we recommend spot cleaning with a cloth with water or mild soap - dish or hand soap works great! Let it air dry completely. Avoid anything containing essential oils.

We also ask that all Bala products are stored out of the sun for long periods of time as it can cause the silicone to wear and color to fade.

Bala Bangles are wrist/ankle weights, redesigned to be more fashionable and more functional than their 80s predecessors. Bala Bangles add a constant but comfortable resistance to your workout – scientifically proven to increase heart rate, burn fat and build muscle.

Traditional dumbbells limit your range of motion, prevent you from using your hands, and interrupt your workout each time you pick them up or put them down. Not so with Bala Bangles! Enjoy a hands-free, unencumbered workout experience.

Though 1LB may not seem like a lot of weight, Bala Bangles are designed to intensify an already challenging workout. If you’re already active, we recommend the 1LB Bangles. If you’re advanced, the 2LB will add an extra oomph to most workouts.

Bala Bangles were designed to be one-size-fits all, for wrist and ankles. The athletic elastic allows for a completely custom fit.

To fit your Bangles, have a look at this video. Simply hold your Bangle against your body, wrap the elastic around your wrist / ankle, and firmly secure the velcro. When in doubt, the Bala logo will be facing out. Over time, putting on your Bangles will become second nature.

When traveling domestically, weighted products can be in checked luggage, but they must be pulled out (with your electronics) through security if you choose to fly with them in your carry-on. Please exercise best judgment when traveling internationally with any Bala products as it’s possible that TSA can confiscate them at their own discretion.

Let’s face it, kids love Bala products for the same reasons adults do – they’re colorful, soft, and fun to play with. However, we strongly recommend that Bala products be kept out of the hands of anyone younger than 18 years old.
