A Message About Pricing Updates

On July 1st, 2022 we’re increasing prices on select items (and decreasing prices where possible). We want to be transparent as to why.
We started Bala on a napkin in 2018, when we sketched out ideas for what would eventually become Bala Bangles. We'd grown tired of an ultra-serious, exclusionary fitness industry. And sought to make working out feel a bit less like work; to design products as fun as they are functional. The unfortunate reality is that the cost of doing business is historically high. From raw materials to inbound / outbound shipping, surging prices have forced our hand. To maintain a fair margin – to continue to offer beautiful, functional fitness equipment – we'll be increasing prices on select items and decreasing prices where possible. While our main goal has not changed, may other factors have:

- Increases in cost of goods (especially steel prices)
- Increases in inbound and outbound shipping costs
- Increases in wages to support our team and our partners’ teams
- Closures at our manufacturing facilities due to COVID-19
